Predator reports
When hunting wildlife, it is the duty of the hunt leader to know
how many animals that are left from the allotted number of animals.
When hunting Lynx, this has to be done by the hunt leader phoning
the County Authority telephone answering machine every hour.

Neava is now in the process of launching a mobile phone
application (beta testing) that clearly shows if the allocation for
the hunt is used up, or if continued hunting is allowed. This is
shown in real time. Using this application, the hunt leader or the
hunter may also report and update the allocation when an animal has
been killed, which will to a large extent improve the Authority's
handling of hunting allocations. The application consists of
software that may be downloaded to a mobile phone, a web page and a
sever/database that is connected to the internet.
